Philosophy

Teaching is a joy and passion. I believe dance is a beautiful balance between physical skills and artistry and my goal is to educate students on fundamental dance techniques and develop their creativity and self-expression. I am patient and creative with children, beginners, and adults; I am disciplined and ambitious with advanced students. We all learn differently, my job is to alter my teaching methods to suit the individual. I am experienced at teaching and choreographing a variety of dance styles including ballet, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop and musical theatre. At the end of the day, dancing should be fun and rewarding; students should always finish class feeling accomplished and happy.

Sincerely,
       Ms. Kathryn
